As a project based school, we immediately saw the value of implementing digital portfolios for three main reasons: 1) to give the students a vehicle to represent their work to future college admissions, this can also include internships and employers; 2) digital portfolios are an excellent way for students to track their own growth through a project and also provides a broader look at their educational journey over time; and 3) digital portfolios allow an opportunity to show the results of student reflection on their projects.
