Craig Doerksen

Prior to becoming the director of Waterloo School, Craig provided leadership for a number of prominent institutions, including Regents School of Austin; the Bluetower Arts Foundation in Eugene, OR; and Trinity School in Raleigh, NC. Craig holds a master’s degree in English from the University of Ireland and graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in English.

Dr. Christina Swan

Dr. Christina Swan

Dr. Swan supports all students and faculty in project design and execution. Before Waterloo, Christina taught molecular biology, biology, and chemistry at Regents School of Austin for ten years, where she also served as a faculty dean for the Math and Science department. Prior to that she helped start Providence Hall, a Christian school in Santa Barbara. She holds a Ph.D. in molecular pathology from the University of California, San Diego. Christina graduated with a bachelor’s of science honors degree in Biology from Westmont College.

Dr. Carol Blosser

Dr. Blosser provides oversight for all curriculum, instruction, and learning outcomes at Waterloo. Before Waterloo, she taught literature, history, and journalism at Regents School of Austin for thirteen years, serving as Humanities Department head for five of those years and as a faculty dean for another four years. Carol has a master’s degree and Ph.D. in English from the University of Texas at Austin.

Bryce Carlisle

Mr. Carlisle is our Director of Development, working directly with every student throughout the year to help guide them on their educational journey. Prior to Waterloo, Bryce taught and served as Faculty Dean and director of the Senior Thesis Program at Regents School of Austin. He has a bachelor’s of arts in Spanish from The University of Kansas and an MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary.
